Today we?re reviewing the Nerf Maverick.? It?s part of a line that Nerf have brought out this year with Nerf. It?s got the re-con CS6 and the long shots as part of the ?Big Brothers? and on another review we?ve already done, the Vulcan , but today it?s all about the Maverick. The Maverick is by name set around that Western-style of hand gun. It?s basically a really safe way of having a bit of fun with soft darts. It?s age recommended for 6+. As I said, it?s that Western-style of 6 shooter so you can drop the barrel out, put all your Nerf darts in and run around and have a bit of action around the house or the backyard. The darts that we?ve got loaded in here today are actually just suction-cap darts that comes with the gun. It comes with 6 and we can show you how it?s best to be used. But it?s a simple action. Now in our testing and playing with it ourselves we found that if the Dads go and grabs hold of it you might find that it gets jammed because you are pulling the trigger too hard. If you?re pulling it like a child, squeezing it gently, it works really well every single time. So, as I said, the drop-out barrel for loading. It comes with the different darts and simple pull-back cocking action to make it work and then it?s a simple squeeze. So, once you do that, it works really, really simply, really, really well. So, we?re actually shooting the cameraman now ?cause we?re going to make some squeal.? Oh, no, we missed! ?But a really good piece of fun blaster action that you can have at home. You can buy more darts for it so you can just have them in your pocket and just keep re-loading. It?s something we recommend and it is good safe, wholesome fun.
