I am Heath May and welcome the Toy Guru Reviews.
Today we are reviewing the Nerf Vulcan Blaster. It is a really great design toy, its safe and its fun. It is age recommended for children 8+. So it is for someone that is going to carry a little responsibility on how someone is going to use this toy. It comes with really fine, soft tip darts. Nerf actually produce two other darts which is suction caps and with whistles, so you have a few variations. The ones we have loaded today are the stream line darts. I will give you a little bit on a run down on how this works. This is the magazine cartridge that sits off to the side of the unit and you can feed all your ammunition to it. Comes with a tripod so you can have it set up with a little base and aim it around the room. You can remove it also and then free carry it. Does replicate a machine gun but it is a safe fun toy for boy and girls to both use. So it is nice to talk about a big piece of machinery like this but it is always to see it work. It can be working in two ways one you can have batteries off, cock it back shoot it through. It?s not really what it?s personally what kids are going to use it for. They are going to use it fully battered up and nail out as many Nerf darts as they can at a time. It does shoot three darts per second when you got it on new batteries, it is absolutely flat out. Thing about it in testing as we have played with it if you pull back on the trigger too quickly and go for it you will get some sort of jamming it but it is just the way it works. You just have to give it a firm press on the trigger and let it just feed through and it works fine. You are going to see how well it does work now. So as you can see here it has a on, off switch pull it back, turn it on and you will see at the speed it comes to the camera how it actually works. Again I do say it is safe, the darts are fully tested and not going to have any problems. We have tried this a couple of times and our camera person starts getting nervous when pointing at the camera and we will give it a fare shot. So here we go. You can see there, it rattled off 10 shots as it went through quickly before I stopped it. It is that fun you know cool way of having some combat at home, there is a lot of other different versions to the Nerf range in the way that they have got there blasters. The other one we are going to show you later is the Maverick which is a hand held version and set around the 6 shooter but they are coming out with a lot lot more cool blaster products. One of my favorites for Christmas and the family can have a bit of fun with.
So we will see you again at Toy Guru Reviews.
